I purchased this pack and noticed that the size of the glyphs are 240 x 240, compared to the glyph sizes of the PS4 and Xbox packs providing images at 480 x 480 (as well as SVGs). Is it possible to provide glyphs that match the sizes of the other packs? For consistency's sake?
I will look into this, but it will probably take me a couple days if I can find the time. Sorry about the trouble.
No worries, thanks!
Okay, so I just look into the issue and I am sorry to say that it is gonna take a wee bit longer that I initially thought it might. You see when I was working on the project back in the day I was using Adobe XD, but that has since been sunset and I have abandoned Adobe.
What this means is that the files are a little disorganised at the moment and most certainly don’t fit within the current sheet.
Good news is that I’ve found the SVGs so as soon as I’ve had a chance to organise those, I should be able to include them in the pack and give you infinitely scalable icons, so that’s something.
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. It’s incredibly helpful and sorry for the disruption to your development.
Totally okay! I'm happy with what I got for the purchase and really appreciate you taking the time to go back and address my concerns and stuff. I'm not in a huge rush and have contingencies that I can work with even if you never updated this. Thanks again for the response and stuff!
Does this have support for Pro Controller centric glyphs? Such as the D-Pad etc?
Sorry that I didn’t get around to answering this. It has been some time since I’ve made any work on this so if I am being honest with you, then I don’t remember most of the details. I don’t remember making any specific glyphs specific to the Pro Controller, but I do remember making some general ones.
Minimal and clean
If you’ve bought this at some point and have feedback I would love to hear it!
I want to make sure that this is a product that fits into people work flows and as such it is important to me to understand how you implement it. 🧐
Additionally; Be it scathing critiques or compliments to the chef - Don’t be afraid to leave a rating and a review. 😊
These are great! Is there license information for this asset somewhere? Thank you!
Thank you! I am sorry for not getting back to you sooner.
When you buy the asset you may:
Additionally; accreditation is required
That is more or less the gist of it. If you need anything more specific I’ll have to look into it. I hope that clears up your concerns.
Hi Arks!
I am making a free-to-use plugin for Godot Engine that helps the developer see what input it is pressing while testing the game. I am using your other two packs and I was thinking to buy this one too so I can allow the developer to simulate all the console buttons. I'll also put your credits on the Read Me file. Is it ok with you?
As long as you can promise me that they won’t have direct access to the files in question then I see no issue. 😎 Although, be adviced that the structure of this pack is a little different from the previous ones.
If you have a download page for the plug-in then I would also very much appreciate being featured somewhere on that as well. 😊
It certainly sounds like a useful and interesting project, so I wish you all the best. 😁
Haha, very fair. I'll delete all assets that I am not using and will block the folder in the index project so it can not be accessed outside the plugin.
About the download page, by now I am just planning to put it in GitHub and Godot Asset Library, but I will credit you in both of them. I am thinking about putting it here in itch.io too, but I am not sure yet. If I do it, I'll link you to the project and send you the paga :D
Thank you kindly. Hope your project turns out well.
Hey there, Firezac.
Out of curiosity; how is your project going?
Hey Arks. Sorry for the delay, didn't see your message.
I did it for Godot 4. It was a very simple and good experiment, it was good to study some functions of the engine.
If you want to try, here is the link: https://godotengine.org/asset-library/asset/1669
I need to update it to the Godot 4.1 and 4.2, but if you open it on it, will keep working without problem. :)
Absolutely.
Do these include SVGs like the other packs do? or is it just PNGs it's not stated anywhere in the description
If that is something you’d be interested in then I will look into adding them. 😊
If you have bought this and have any uses using it, do not hesitate to let me know.
